Day 3 of Line dancing

In this lesson were in ms2 researching a Line dance from the internet to add to our routine. My move was from the video of electric boogie. This was a good lesson and a lot of work was accomplished.

What we did exactly?

In the first 5 minutes of the lesson we came in and sat down talking on what we are going to do in the lesson. We discussed that we were going to research a dance move and show it to the class. So for 40 minutes of the lesson, I and Jaydeep searched on you tube for a line dance move so we can show the class. We found a popular dance move called the electric boogie. We watched and practiced the dance steps. There was 15 minutes of the lesson now so everyone had to show what they researched to the class.

This lesson involved a lot of research and independent work. I believe that I have done well on both researching and practical in this lesson.

Day 1 of bollywood dancing

Day one of Bollywood dancing

Our fist day of Bollywood dancing was brilliant. It was exciting and a new experience to me. For this first lesson we learnt a dance routine shown to us by miss Hainstock, our dance teacher. We watched a video from the Internet that taught us a dance routine, we danced to the song Jai Ho. Overall I was very happy we are doing this unit.

What did we do exactly on this lesson?

This was our first lesson of dancing so the whole and me class where pretty nervous. For this dancing lesson we went to room 24 in media to do dancing. Our dance teachers for this lesson were a student from Beal sixth form and miss Hainstock. The student took over for the first half of the lesson; she taught us some basic dance moves to get us warmed up. Everyone in the class got over there shyness and actually gave good dancing performance. After 20 minutes has gone, our student dance teacher had to leave meaning that miss Hainstock had to be our dance teacher for the rest of the lesson. With miss Hainstock, we learnt different dance moves. Miss found a good dancing video from the Internet. We learnt the dance moves and got the routine done. Miss Hainstock was very pleased with our dancing performance. We have completed the dance moves perfectly that miss Hainstock told the other media teachers to see our dance routine. After we showed the media teachers our dance routine, we made the teachers dance. We then became the teachers, the class, and taught the teachers the dance routine. After we taught them the dance moves, they then performed it to us. After a hard day of work, the bell rang and it was the end of the lesson.

This lesson was absolutely brilliant. I have learnt a lot this lesson; I can finally think that I am a good Bollywood dancer. This lesson was even more fun that we were with our friends.
